Headquartered in Ghent, Belgium, CTI as it is universally known has been the global leader in the engineering, design and manufacture of electrolytic cells and other polymer concrete products for the non-ferrous metals refining industry for over thirty years under its UNICELL® brand name. The transaction during a healthy period of growth for CTI reflects the desire of its founders and owners to ensure a seamless transition to the next chapter in its successful operation.
With products installed in over thirty-three countries, CTI’s emphasis on quality product along with focussed customer service fits ideally with Steuler’s business approach and complements its existing product range in the corrosion protection market. With many existing customers in common, the addition of the technology and resources of CTI to the Steuler Group will enable added synergistic solutions to corrosion problems via its global network.
To reflect this synergy, the company will be re-named Steuler-CTI N.V. Steuler’s commitment to the acquisition will ensure that the CTI name and the UNICELL® brand will continue to prosper and grow as a new engineering and business perspective is brought to an iconic company.
